All Putnam County Schools continue to implement the “I Love U Guys” Foundation’s Standard Response Protocol. Students and staff will be training, practicing, and drilling the protocol throughout the 2023-2024 school year. We will conduct each of the five actions (Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter) a minimum of one time each nine weeks. The date and time of the protocol practice/drill will not be announced ahead of time. This parent information sheet is being provided to help you become familiar with each of the five actions and assist you with discussions you may have with your student(s) at home regarding this protocol.
