We will be organizing a Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive for Backpack Snack distrubtion, over Thanksgiving break, for our students in need.
We are asking for your kind and generous donations. Our goal is 60 plastic jars of peanut butter and 60 plastic jars of jelly. We have already secured a donor of 55 loaves of bread. The deadline for donations is Wednesday, November 18th. These donations are exclusively for Poca Elementary School students and will help in providing meals over the long break. Our current weekly Backpack Snack donations only cover the weekends for our students. Our classes have been assigned goals. If met, the students will be allowed to wear their PJs to school on a designated day.
