Just a reminder about our April Community Service project! We’re collecting snacks for the veterans at the Barboursville VA Home—items like Little Debbie cakes, individual chips, crackers, donuts, Slim Jims, and more.
This is one of our favorite projects, and the veterans are always so grateful. Let’s overwhelm them with love and appreciation for their service!

Families of students in Grades 3 - 5th:
Today, your child will bring home WVGSA letter, which includes your family specific Cambium (testing portal) access code. WVGSA testing will occur Tuesday, May 6th through Friday, May 9th. Make-up testing will occur the week of May 12th. As I understand it, test results will be available within 24 hours after a particular test is complete. The access code found in the letter today will give you access to your child's scores. PLEASE KEEP THIS FORM IN A SAFE LOCATION. We do not have extra copies of your access code at the school.

Our Kindergarten Lunch n' Learn will be held tomorrow, Monday, March 10th at 10:45 a.m. Doors will open at 10:40 a.m. You CAN bring a lunch to your child. We do need the cafe free for the next lunch by 11:20 a.m.
PES: Dear PES Families,
At dismissal, we kindly ask all families to follow the designated traffic patterns in the back lot. While we understand that the situation is not ideal, it's crucial that only one vehicle is allowed on the road leading to or from the back lot at a time. Please be patient as it can get busy right after dismissal. Additionally, cars should never drive off the roadway onto the graveyard area, as there are graves near the roadway.
Please share this with any family member/friend picking up students.

Anyone who lives in PES Zone and has a child who will be 5 years old by July 1, may call 304-755-7561 to make an appointment for Kindergarten Registration. Packets are now available for pick-up. If you have a child in PreK and/or a sibling at the school, we can send the packet home with him/her.
ALL STUDENTS MUST ENROLL AT THEIR HOME SCHOOL.
Students out-of-zone must register at their home school, then you can complete an Out-of-Zone (OZ) form and submit to PES office. OZ requests will not be approved until after new student registration in mid-August.
