As we start 2024, please have students at school by 7:45 a.m. If your child will need to eat breakfast, please plan to arrive by 7:35. This will allow him/her time to eat, get to class on time, and start the day with their class. If the adults on duty are not outside, you must bring your child to the main office to sign-in.

Poca Elementary's Title I will host a STEM Christmas event Tonight at 5:00-6:15 with a special visit from Santa. Please make plans to join us! Everyone is welcome.

Please make sure to send any items needed for tomorrow's parade (2:35 at PMS Football field) to school with your child. if you have snacks to drop off, please do it before 8:00 a.m. as we have extra help in the office at that time.
Also, please make sure to send your child's costume to school. We do have volunteers to assist students who need help with costumes.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation with this matter. Our office staff cannot fulfill their daily duties and be overwhelmed with office visits and phone calls. Safety is always our priority.
PES After School Tutoring. Tutoring will be cancelled tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Your child will do their daily regular dismissal unless you have made a dismissal change in writing.

Tuesday, October 10th: Wear GREEN! Tomorrow, PES will wear GREEN to show support for Maci. Maci is a former PES student who was involved in a accident last month.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 27th Birthday Luncheon for all students with August and September birthdays. Students may bring 2 people per household. If you wish to bring your student lunch, please know that only your child may eat that lunch. Please do not share any outside lunch items with another student. Doors will open FIVE MINUTES before the lunch begins. Lunches are as follows: Pre-K 10:50 (doors open at 10:45) Kindergarten & 1st Grades - 11:00 (doors will open at 10:45) 4th and 5th Grades - 11:30 (doors will open at 11:25) 2nd and 3rd - 12:00 (doors will open at 11:55)
