Friendly reminder to 2nd grade, 4th grade, Mrs. S. Cobb, and Mr. Hall's families. Tomorrow is the last day to turn in your reservation form and money for Easter luncheon. Students in these classes are invited to host up to two guests for Easter luncheon on Friday, March 21, 2025. Invitations were sent home with your child last week. Due to food ordering deadlines and arrangements made for additional required seating, NO LATE RESERVATIONS will be accepted. Please turn your reservation and money in tomorrow! We have been made aware that a Putnam County school bus has been involved in an accident on 817 in front of Winfield Middle School. No WES students were on the bus at the time of the accident. All WES students are safe. Some WES students may arrive home a little later than their usual time as a result of traffic due to the accident. Thank you for your understanding!
Bus Change for WES for 3/3/25! Bus 2506 did not run this afternoon. Students who usually ride home on 2506 are coming home on bus 1801 today. Students who usually ride home on 1801 and live in Fieldstone and Pebble Creek are coming home on bus 205 today.

Bus Change for WES 2/28/25!
Bus 1801 will not run this afternoon. Some students will ride home on bus 205 and some will ride home on bus 2506. These buses may be just a few minutes late due to the changes.
Please be advised that we have had some issues with the phone lines at WES today. Just an FYI in case you attempt to call and cannot get through.

A couple of announcements from WES as you are preparing for the week ahead.
1. We will be following the menu as it is scheduled for this week. Lunch for Friday 2/28 will be pepperoni rolls.
2. WES is working in collaboration with WMS and WHS to collect flood relief donations for the Hungry Lambs Food Pantry to help areas of Southern WV that were hard hit by recent flooding. Suggested items include the following.

clorox wipes
scrub brushes
paper towels
gloves
all-purpose cleaner
mold cleaner
bleach
trash bags
hygiene items
new blankets
new unopened men & women's underwear
Donation bins will be available in the hallways through Wednesday.

Good morning, WES! Update from the WES Kitchen... Today's breakfast will be chocolate muffins. Today's lunch will be hot dogs.
Tomorrow for lunch we will return to the normally scheduled menu with pepperoni rolls. Remember, ALL students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch daily.
Also, reminder that today is Hat Day! Bring a $2 donations and wear your hat all day. Proceeds benefit our fifth grade end of year activities.
Be safe on your way to school today! Parents, don't forget you are welcome to park and walk your children to the door if you fear the gravel loop is still too icy.

Bus 203 will not run Ranch Lake Estates this afternoon. The driver will drop students off at the entrance. If you miss him at the Ranch Lake Estates entrance, he will meet you at Christ Community Church at the end of Kilgore.
